Tārā’s Lament over Vāli
'O son! offer salutations to your venerable father, the king, departing for the abode of Yama (lord of death) looking (red with blood) like the rising Sun.'
Even at death, one upholds dharma through reverence and filial conduct—saluting and honoring one’s parent and king.
Tārā instructs Aṅgada to perform a final respectful salutation to Vāli as Vāli approaches death.
Respect (māna) and dutifulness—Aṅgada is guided to uphold proper conduct despite overwhelming grief.
