Rama’s Justification to Vali on Rājadharma
त्वया ह्यनुगृहीतेन राज्यं शक्यमुपासितुम्।।त्वद्वशे वर्तमानेन तव चित्तानुवर्तिना।शक्यं दिवं चार्जयितुं वसुधां चापि शासितुम्।।
tvayā hy anugṛhītena rājyaṃ śakyam upāsitum || tvadvaśe vartamānena tava cittānuvartinā | śakyaṃ divaṃ cārjayituṃ vasudhāṃ cāpi śāsitum ||
Sa sinumang pinagpala ng iyong biyaya, nagiging posible ang paghawak at pamamahala ng kaharian. Tunay, ang nananatili sa ilalim ng iyong paggabay at sumusunod sa iyong kalooban ay makakamit ang langit at makapaghahari rin sa lupa.
