Tara’s Counsel to Vali on Sugriva’s Roar and Rama’s Alliance
न हि तेन समं बन्धुं भुवि पश्यामि कञ्चन4.15.26।।दानमानादिसत्कारैः कुरुष्व प्रत्यनन्तरम्।वैरमेतत्समुत्सृज्य तव पार्श्वे स तिष्ठतु4.15.27।।
na hi tena samaṃ bandhuṃ bhuvi paśyāmi kañcana 4.15.26 ||
dāna-mānādi-satkāraiḥ kuruṣva pratyanantaram |
vairam etat samutsṛjya tava pārśve sa tiṣṭhatu 4.15.27 ||
Wala akong nakikitang kamag-anak sa lupa na kapantay niya. Kaya iwan mo ang alitang ito; parangalan mo siya ng mga handog at paggalang, at hayaang manatili siyang malapit sa iyong tabi.
'Indeed I do not see any of your relatives comparable to him on earth. Give up enmity with him. Give him wealth. Give him respect. Keep him by your side.
Dharma is to end vendetta and restore rightful relationships through respectful, constructive action.
This verse reiterates Tārā’s counsel to Vālī to reconcile with Sugrīva by honoring him and keeping him close.
Conciliatory leadership—healing conflict through generosity and recognition.
