As Dilipa known for his knowledge of the soul constantly reflected righteously on (this matter of Ganga), a highly virtuous son named Bhagiratha was born to him.
Righteous intention and sustained reflection are portrayed as generative forces—dharma supports continuity and produces capable successors for unfinished duties.
While Dilīpa remains focused on the righteous problem of his ancestors’ uplift, Bhagīratha is born, who will later accomplish the Gaṅgā mission.
Dharmic mindfulness—steadfast concern for duty even before a solution appears.
