The Slaying of Tāṭakā

While Rama was still speaking, Tataka, incensed with fury rushed with her uplifted arms towards him roaring.
Uncontrolled anger (krodha) destroys discernment and leads to ruin; dharma requires mastery over impulses, especially in confrontation.
Tāṭakā, enraged, initiates the attack by charging at Rāma.
By contrast to Tāṭakā’s rage, Rāma’s steadiness is implied—he remains composed even as aggression erupts.
