Bālakāṇḍa 18
पुरे कोशे जनपदे बान्धवेषु सुहृत्सु च ।।।।कुशलं कौशिको राज्ञ: पर्यपृच्छत्सुधार्मिक:।
pure kośe janapade bāndhaveṣu suhṛtsu ca | kuśalaṃ kauśiko rājñaḥ paryapṛcchat sudhārmikaḥ ||
Sa lunsod, sa kabang-yaman, sa mga lalawigan, at sa mga kamag-anak at kaibigan—ang lubhang matuwid na Kauśika (Viśvāmitra) ay magalang na nagtanong sa hari kung ang lahat ay nasa kagalingan.
The exceedingly virtuous sage Viswamitra enquired from the king about the treasury welfare of his subjects living in cities and villages, and the well being of his friends and relatives.
