अयोमुखी-दर्शनम् तथा कबन्ध-प्रवेशः
Ayomukhi Encounter and the ظهور of Kabandha
नानामेघघनप्रख्यं प्रहृष्टमिव सर्वतः।नानापक्षिगणैर्युक्तं नानाव्यालमृगैर्युतम्।।3.69.6।।दिदृक्षमाणौ वैदेहीं तद्वनं तौ विचिक्यतुः।तत्र तत्रावतिष्ठन्तौ सीताहरणकर्शितौ।।3.69.7।।
nānāmeghaghanaprakhyaṃ prahṛṣṭam iva sarvataḥ |
nānāpakṣigaṇair yuktaṃ nānāvyālamṛgair yutam || 3.69.6 ||
didṛkṣamāṇau vaidehīṃ tad vanaṃ tau vicikyatuḥ |
tatra tatrāvatiṣṭhantau sītāharaṇakarśitau || 3.69.7 ||
Ang gubat ay tila siksik na ulap ang kapal at wari’y nagdiriwang sa lahat ng dako; hitik sa maraming uri ng mga ibon, ahas, at mababangis na hayop. Dahil sa pagdukot kay Sītā ay labis na nagdurusa, ang magkapatid—nananabik na makita si Vaidehī—ay masusing nagsiyasat, humihinto nang paulit-ulit.
