शरभङ्गाश्रमगमनम् तथा इन्द्रदर्शनम्

स पुण्यकर्मा भुवने द्विजर्षभः पितामहं सानुचरं ददर्श ह।पितामहश्चापि समीक्ष्य तं द्विजं ननन्द सुस्वागतमित्युवाच ह।।3.5.43।।

sa puṇyakarmā bhuvane dvijarṣabhaḥ pitāmahaṃ sānucaraṃ dadarśa ha |

pitāmahaś cāpi samīkṣya taṃ dvijaṃ nananda susvāgatam ity uvāca ha || 3.5.43 ||

Si Śarabhanga—puspos ng banal na kabutihan at pinakadakila sa mga brāhmaṇa—ay namasdan sa daigdig si Pitāmaha, si Brahmā, na kasama ang kaniyang mga tagasunod. At si Pitāmaha man, pagtanaw sa brahmin na iyon, ay nagalak at nagsabi: “Maligayang pagdating.”

Sarabhanga, performer of sacred deeds, saw Brahma with his followers৷৷ Brahma also seeing Sarabhanga, the best among the brahmins, welcomed him gladly.ityārṣē śrīmadrāmāyaṇē vālmīkīya ādikāvyē araṇyakāṇḍē pañcamaḥ sargaḥ৷৷Thus ends the fifth sarga of Aranyakanda of the holy Ramayana the first epic composed by sage Valmiki.
