असाध्यः कुपितो रामो विक्रमेण महायशाः।आपगायास्सुपूर्णाया वेगं परिहरेच्छरैः।।3.31.23।।
asādhyaḥ kupito rāmo vikrameṇa mahāyaśāḥ |
āpagāyāḥ supūrṇāyā vegaṃ pariharec charaiḥ ||3.31.23||
Si Rāma, na bantog sa dakilang karangalan, kapag nagngangalit ay hindi mapipigil. Sa lakas ng kanyang mga palaso, mapipigil niya maging ang rumaragasang ilog na lubos ang baha.
Thus said by Ravana, Akampana responded, I will tell you what happened there. O king ! listen to the strength and valour of Rama.
