त्रिशिरोवधः (The Slaying of Triśiras)

Araṇyakāṇḍa, Sarga 27

अष्टभिस्सायकैस्सूतं रथोपस्थान्न्यपातयत्।।3.27.15।।रामश्चिच्छेद बाणेन ध्वजं चास्य समुच्छ्रितम्।

aṣṭabhis sāyakaiḥ sūtaṁ rathopasthān nyapātayat || 3.27.15 || rāmaś ciccheda bāṇena dhvajaṁ cāsya samucchritam |

Sa walong palaso, ibinagsak ni Rāma ang kutsero mula sa patungan ng karwahe; at sa isang palaso lamang, pinutol niya ang bandilang nakataas ng kaaway.
