Nang makita niya ang mga rākṣasa na may kakila-kilabot na lakas na sumugod upang manalakay, ang karwahe ni Khara man ay umusad nang bahagya sa likuran nila.
Spurred by the charioteer, the chariot of Khara, the slayer of enemies, produced a rattle that filled all four quarters and the intermediate directions.
It invites reflection on leadership and responsibility: dharmic leadership does not hide behind others, whereas adharmic leadership often uses followers as a shield.
The rākṣasa troops surge ahead to attack; Khara follows in his chariot slightly behind the vanguard.
By contrast, it points to the virtue of accountable leadership—later embodied by Rama, who personally meets threats rather than sending others to die first.
