Transliteration

phalamūlāśanau dāntau tāpasau dharmacāriṇau | vasantau daṇḍakāraṇye kim artham upahiṃsatha ||

Translation

Namumuhay kami sa gubat ng Daṇḍaka bilang mga tapasvī—mapagpigil, sumusunod sa dharma, at nabubuhay sa prutas at ugat—bakit ninyo kami ginugulo at sinasaktan?
