Determination of the Householder’s Dharma

Dāna: Types, Recipients, Timing, and Fruits

न तां गतिमवाप्नोति संतोषाद्यामवाप्नुयात् । प्रतिग्रहरुचिर्न स्याच्छूद्रान्न तु समाहरेत्

na tāṃ gatimavāpnoti saṃtoṣādyāmavāpnuyāt | pratigraharucirna syācchūdrānna tu samāharet

Hindi niya nakakamtan ang dakilang hantungan na makakamtan sana sa kasiyahan. Huwag siyang mahilig tumanggap ng mga kaloob, at huwag tumanggap ng pagkain mula sa isang Śūdra.
