O tigre sa mga Kuru, si Dilīpa—nang maunawaan ang tunay na diwa at mga simulain ng mga śāstra, at ayon din sa payo ni Vasiṣṭha—ay naglakbay at nilibot ang daigdig.
Narrator (Purāṇic narrator addressing the listener as 'kuruśārdūla')
Concept: Scriptural discernment (śāstra-tattvārtha-darśana) must culminate in lived practice—here, pilgrimage undertaken under guru-guidance.
Application: Study with the aim of transformation: let understanding become disciplined steps—seek wise counsel, then act consistently rather than remaining in theory.
Primary Rasa: vira
Secondary Rasa: shanta

Visual Art Cues: {"scene_description":"King Dilīpa, crowned yet humble, sets out from the āśrama with a small retinue, carrying a staff and travel offerings. Behind him, the forest path opens into a vast map-like panorama of India’s sacred sites—rivers, ghāṭas, and distant temples—suggesting a dharmic circumambulation of the earth.","primary_figures":["King Dilīpa","Vasiṣṭha (as remembered presence)","royal attendants"],"setting":"forest edge transitioning into a grand pilgrimage road with signifiers of multiple tīrthas (ghāṭa steps, temple spires, river confluences)","lighting_mood":"golden dawn","color_palette":["royal maroon","antique gold","river-silver","sacred ash-grey","leaf green"],"tanjore_prompt":"Tanjore painting style: Dilīpa in regal attire stepping onto a pilgrimage path, holding offerings, with stylized temple towers and river ghāṭas in the background; gold leaf on crown, jewelry, and temple finials; rich reds/greens, ornate borders, and a devotional, iconic symmetry.","pahari_prompt":"Pahari miniature style: Dilīpa and attendants on a winding path through gentle hills and riverbanks, delicate architecture of tīrthas appearing like vignettes; cool blues and greens, fine linework, lyrical landscape, refined expressions conveying resolve and humility.","kerala_mural_prompt":"Kerala mural style: bold outlines of Dilīpa with large expressive eyes, saffron-clad attendants, and emblematic river ghāṭa; flat yet vibrant red/yellow/green palette, temple-wall composition with decorative vegetal motifs.","pichwai_prompt":"Pichwai cloth painting style: pilgrimage procession framed by lotus borders; multiple tīrtha icons arranged like mandala panels around Dilīpa; deep indigo ground with gold highlights, peacocks and floral filigree, textile ornamentation."}

Sandhi Resolution Notes: śāstratattvārthadarśanāt = śāstra-tattva-artha-darśanāt; vasiṣṭhavacanāccaiva = vasiṣṭha-vacanāt + ca + eva; pṛthivīmanucakrame = pṛthivīm + anucakrame.
It presents ideal kingship: a ruler acts after understanding the scriptures’ true intent and by heeding the guidance of a qualified guru (Vasiṣṭha).
It is an honorific epithet—“tiger among the Kurus”—used by the narrator to praise and address the interlocutor in a heroic lineage.
That right action is grounded in both śāstric discernment (tattva-artha) and humility toward wise counsel, rather than mere personal impulse.
