FAQs

It presents Nārāyaṇa as the supreme cosmic reality who governs dissolution as well as creation, and whose form encompasses the entire universe (symbolized by “a thousand heads” and “a thousand feet”).

It is a traditional way of expressing the all-pervading, cosmic form—an infinite, universal presence rather than a limited physical body.

Recognizing the Lord as all-encompassing and sovereign encourages humility, surrender, and steadiness in devotion, since all beings and all endings are under the same divine order.
