ब्राह्मणेन सदा त्याज्यं नीचसेवानुजीवनम् । आपद्गतोऽपि जीवेत न श्ववृत्त्या कदाचन

brāhmaṇena sadā tyājyaṃ nīcasevānujīvanam | āpadgato'pi jīveta na śvavṛttyā kadācana

Ang isang brāhmaṇa ay laging dapat talikdan ang kabuhayang nakukuha sa paglilingkod sa hamak. Kahit dumating ang kapahamakan, mabuhay siya—hindi kailanman sa pamumuhay na gaya ng aso.
