मनोवेगः सर्वगतिरुच्चैःश्रवस्समप्रभः । वाजिमेधे हयः प्रोक्तः शुभलक्षणलक्षितः

manovegaḥ sarvagatiruccaiḥśravassamaprabhaḥ | vājimedhe hayaḥ proktaḥ śubhalakṣaṇalakṣitaḥ

Ang kabayo ay kasingbilis ng isip, nakararating sa lahat ng dako, at nagniningning na tulad ni Uccaiḥśravas. Sa sakripisyong Aśvamedha, ang gayong kabayo ang itinuturing na karapat-dapat—tinatanghal ng mga mapalad na tanda.
