इति श्रुत्वा महद्वाक्यं वसिष्ठस्य यथार्थकम् । उवाच लक्ष्मणं धीमान्नानार्थपरिबृंहितम्

iti śrutvā mahadvākyaṃ vasiṣṭhasya yathārthakam | uvāca lakṣmaṇaṃ dhīmānnānārthaparibṛṃhitam

Nang marinig niya ang dakilang pahayag ni Vasiṣṭha, na tunay ayon sa katotohanan, ang marunong ay nagsalita kay Lakṣmaṇa sa mga salitang hitik sa maraming kahulugan.
