जित्वा त्रिगर्तान् संग्रामे गाश्नैवादाय सर्वशः । अशोभत महाराज सहपार्थ: श्रिया वृत:
Vaiśampāyana uvāca | jitvā trigartān saṅgrāme gāś caivādāya sarvaśaḥ | aśobhat mahārāja sahapārthaḥ śriyā vṛtaḥ ||
Wika ni Vaiśampāyana: “Mahal na Hari, matapos talunin sa labanan ang mga Trigarta at mabawi ang lahat ng mga baka, si Haring Virāṭa—kasama ang mga Pārtha—ay nagningning, napalilibutan ng karangalan ng tagumpay.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Just victory is marked not merely by defeating aggressors but by restoring what was taken; rightful protection and recovery bring legitimate honor and prosperity to the ruler and his allies.
After a battle with the Trigartas, the stolen cattle are recovered in full, and King Virāṭa—together with the Pārthas—returns in visible triumph and royal splendor.
