धनंजयस्य आश्वासनम्

Dhanaṃjaya’s Reassurance and the Opening Engagement

अग्नेरीशस्य सोमस्य वरुणस्य प्रजापते: । तथा धातुर्विधातुश्च कुबेरस्थ यमस्य च,अग्नि, ईश, सोम, वरुण, प्रजापति, धाता, विधाता कुबेर, यम, अलम्बुष और उग्रसेन आदि गन्धर्व तथा गन्धर्वराज तुम्बुरुके भी पृथक्‌ू-पृथक्‌ विमान अपनी-अपनी लंबाई- चौड़ाईके अनुसार आकाशके विभिन्न प्रदेशोंमें प्रकाशित हो रहे थे

agner īśasya somasya varuṇasya prajāpateḥ | tathā dhātur vidhātuś ca kuberasya yamasya ca ||

Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: Ang mga karwaheng panghimpapawid nina Agni, Īśa, Soma, Varuṇa, Prajāpati, gayundin nina Dhātṛ at Vidhātṛ, at pati nina Kubera at Yama, ay nakitang nagniningning sa iba’t ibang dako ng langit—bawat isa’y bukod-tangi, bawat isa’y nahahayag ayon sa sariling sukat ng haba at lapad. Ipinahihiwatig nito ang kaayusang kosmiko: maging ang makapangyarihan ay kumikilos sa itinakdang anyo at saklaw, na waring ang lakas ay may saysay lamang kapag kaayon ng wastong katayuan at pagpipigil.
