अध्याय ५०: उत्तरेण सह अर्जुनस्य रथप्रयाणे ध्वजचिह्नैः कौरवसेनानिर्देशः
Arjuna directs Uttara by identifying Kaurava commanders through banners
यथा सभायां दूत॑ त्वं मातुलेन सहाकरो: । तथा युध्यस्व संग्रामे सौबलेन सुरक्षित:,राजन! जैसे राजसभामें तुमने मामाके साथ जूएका खेल किया है, उसी प्रकार इस संग्रामभूमिमें भी तुम उन्हीं मामा शकुनिसे सुरक्षित होकर युद्ध करो। (किसी दूसरेसे सहयोगकी आशा न रखो)
yathā sabhāyāṃ dūta tvaṃ mātulena sahākaroḥ | tathā yudhyasva saṃgrāme saubalena surakṣitaḥ ||
Sinabi ni Kṛpa: “Kung paanong sa bulwagang maharlika ay nakipaglaro ka ng sugal sa iyong tiyuhin sa ina, gayon din ngayon sa larangan ng digmaan—na pinangangalagaan ng Saubala (Śakuni)—makipaglaban ka. Huwag kang umasa ng tulong sa iba.”
