भीमस्य बल्लव-प्रतिज्ञा तथा अर्जुनस्य बृहन्नडा-रूप-निर्णयः
Bhīma’s Ballava Vow and Arjuna’s Decision to Become Bṛhannadā
राज्ञस्तस्य परे प्रेष्या मंस्यन्ते मां यथा नृूपम् । भनक्ष्यान्नरसपानानां भविष्यामि तथेश्वर:,इससे राजा विराटके दूसरे सेवक राजाके ही समान मेरा सम्मान करेंगे और मैं भक्ष्य, भोज्य, रस तथा पेय पदार्थोंका इच्छानुसार उपयोग करनेमें समर्थ होऊँगा
rājñas tasya pare preṣyā maṁsyante māṁ yathā nṛpam | bhakṣyānna-rasapānānāṁ bhaviṣyāmi tatheśvaraḥ ||
Sinabi ni Bhīmasena: “Ituturing ako ng iba pang mga tagapaglingkod ng hari na gaya ng pagtingin nila sa hari mismo; at magkakaroon ako ng ganap na kapangyarihang gumamit, ayon sa aking nais, ng mga pagkaing kinakain at nginunguya, mga lutong handa, mga katas, at mga inumin.”
