अध्याय १५ — कीचकस्य अत्याचारः, द्रौपद्याः सभाशरणगमनम्

Kīcaka’s coercion and Draupadī’s appeal in the assembly

सैरन्ध्रीने कहा--राजकुमारी! मैं उसके घर नहीं जा सकती। महारानी! आप तो जानती ही हैं कि वह कैसा निर्लज्ज है

sairandhrī uvāca—rājakumāri! ahaṃ tasya gṛhaṃ na gantum śaknomi। mahārāṇi! tvaṃ hi jānāsi eva yat sa kīdṛśo nirlajjaḥ iti॥

Sabi ni Sairandhrī: “Prinsesa, hindi ako makapupunta sa bahay niya. O dakilang reyna, alam na ninyo kung anong uri siyang taong walang hiya.”
