युधिष्ठिरस्य अर्जुनप्रेषण-युक्तिवर्णनम् | Yudhiṣṭhira’s Rationale for Sending Arjuna and Request to Dhaumya

अधिगम्य महादेवं वरदं विष्णुमव्ययम्‌,वहाँ वर देनेवाले महान्‌ देवता अविनाशी भगवान्‌ विष्णुके निकट जाकर उनका दर्शन और पूजन करे

adhigamya mahādevaṁ varadaṁ viṣṇum avyayam, tatra varadān mahān devatā avināśī bhagavān viṣṇoḥ nikaṭaṁ gatvā tasya darśanaṁ pūjanaṁ ca kuryāt

Pagkalapit sa dakilang diyos—si Viṣṇu, ang di-nasisira at tagapagkaloob ng biyaya—nararapat na pumasok sa Kanyang harapan, masilayan Siya, at sambahin. Ipinahihiwatig ng payong ito na ang tunay na tulong at wastong pagpapala ay nakukuha sa mapitagang debosyon sa banal, hindi sa lakas o sa pag-aangkin ng karapatan.
