Pilgrimage joined with sincere worship is presented as a means of inner purification: bathing at a sacred spot (Viṣṇupada) and honoring Vāmana leads to freedom from moral taint and the attainment of Viṣṇu’s realm; related tīrthas are praised for extending purification even to one’s lineage.
The speaker (Ghūlastya) continues a tīrtha-yātrā catalogue, directing the listener to visit the famed site Vāmanaka, bathe at Viṣṇupada, and worship Vāmana, while also noting the fruit of nearby sacred baths such as Kulampunā-tīrtha.
