घुलस्त्य उवाच
Spiritual progress is framed as requiring restraint (niyama), control of the senses, and regulated living; only after disciplined observance and reverent circumambulation does one proceed onward.
The speaker gives procedural guidance for a pilgrimage observance: remain for twelve nights with vows and regulated diet, perform the prescribed circumambulation, and then proceed to the route known as Jambūmārga.
