Kāmyake Arjuna-viyogaḥ — The Pandavas’ despondency in Kāmyaka during Arjuna’s absence
ब्राह्मणैश्व महाभागैवेंदवेदाड़पारगै: | नित्यमन्वास्यसे राजंस्तत्र का परिदेवना,राजन! महान् भाग्यशाली वेद-वेदांगोंके पारंगत विद्वान् ब्राह्मण सदा तुम्हारे साथ रहते हैं; फिर तुम्हारे लिये इस परिस्थितिमें शोककी क्या बात है?
brāhmaṇaiś ca mahābhāgair vedavedāṅgapāragaiḥ | nityam anvāsyase rājan tatra kā paridevanā, rājan ||
Wika ni Bṛhadaśva: “O Hari, palagi kang sinasamahan ng mga mapalad na Brahmana—mga pantas na ganap na bihasa sa mga Veda at sa mga sangay nitong kaalaman (Vedāṅga). Sa gayong kalagayan, ano pa ang dahilan upang managhoy ka, O Hari?”
