Sudeva Identifies Damayantī in Cedi (सुदेवेन दमयन्ती-परिचयः)

ततः परमसंदहृष्टा सुनन्दा गृहमागमत्‌ | दमयन्तीमुपादाय सखीभि: परिवारिता,तब सखियोंसे घिरी हुई सुनन्दा अत्यन्त हर्षोल्लासमें भरकर दमयन्तीको साथ ले अपने भवनमें आयी

tataḥ paramasaṃdahṛṣṭā sunandā gṛham āgamat | damayantīm upādāya sakhībhiḥ parivāritā |

Pagkaraan, si Sunandā, na lubos na nag-uumapaw sa galak, ay nagbalik sa kanyang tahanan. Napalilibutan ng kanyang mga kasama, isinama niya si Damayantī—isang kilos na nagpapakita ng maingat at mahinahong paghawak sa kalagayan ni Damayantī, at ng mapagkalingang tungkulin ng mga mapagkakatiwalaang tagapaglingkod sa oras ng panganib at pagbabago.
