Sudeva Identifies Damayantī in Cedi (सुदेवेन दमयन्ती-परिचयः)

भासि विद्युदिवा भ्रेषु शंस मे कासि कस्य वा । नहि ते मानुषं रूपं भूषणैरपि वर्जितम्‌

bhāsi vidyudivā bhreṣu śaṃsa me kāsi kasya vā | nahi te mānuṣaṃ rūpaṃ bhūṣaṇair api varjitam ||

Wika ni Bṛhadāśva: “Kumikinang ka na parang kidlat sa gitna ng mga ulap. Sabihin mo sa akin—sino ka, at kanino ka? Sapagkat kahit walang palamuti, ang iyong anyo’y hindi wari’y sa tao.”
