शरण्यं शरणं गत्वा भगवन्तं पिनाकिनम् | मृण्मयं स्थण्डिलं कृत्वा माल्येनापूजयद् भवम्,तब वे शरणागतवत्सल पिनाकधारी भगवान् शिवकी शरणमें गये और मिट्टीकी वेदी बनाकर उसीपर पार्थिव शिवकी स्थापना करके पुष्पमालाके द्वारा उनका पूजन किया
śaraṇyaṃ śaraṇaṃ gatvā bhagavantaṃ pinākinam | mṛṇmayaṃ sthaṇḍilaṃ kṛtvā mālyenāpūjayad bhavam |
Sa paghahanap ng kanlungan sa tunay na Kanlungan, lumapit siya sa pinagpalang Pinākin (Śiva). Gumawa siya ng payak na dambanang putik at sinamba si Bhava sa pamamagitan ng kuwintas ng mga bulaklak—ipinapakita na ang taos-pusong debosyon at mapagkumbabang handog, sa diwa ng ganap na pagpapasakop, ay tinatanggap ng mahabaging Panginoon na nagtatanggol sa mga humihingi ng kanlungan.
किरयात उवाच
True refuge (śaraṇāgati) is expressed through humility and sincere worship; even simple offerings like an earthen altar and a garland become meaningful when made with devotion, and the Lord is portrayed as compassionate toward those who seek shelter.
The speaker describes approaching Śiva (Pinākin/Bhava) for protection, preparing a clay/earthen ritual spot (sthaṇḍila), and performing worship by offering a garland—an act of devotion and supplication.
