Shloka 15

त्वं हि देवेश्वर: साक्षात्‌ त्वया देयो वरो मम । अन्‍्येषां चैव भूतानामी श्वरो हासि भूतकृत्‌,आप साक्षात्‌ देवेश्वर हैं। उचित तो यही है कि आप मुझे वर दें; क्योंकि आप अन्य सब भूतोंके ईश्वर तथा उन्हें उत्पन्न करनेवाले हैं

tvaṃ hi deveśvaraḥ sākṣāt tvayā deyo varo mama | anyeṣāṃ caiva bhūtānām īśvaro hāsi bhūtakṛt ||

Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: “Ikaw ang hayag na Panginoon ng mga diyos. Nararapat na ikaw ang magbigay sa akin ng biyaya, sapagkat ikaw ang naghahari sa lahat ng nilalang at ikaw ang lumikha na pinagmumulan nila.”
