आजसे पहले कभी भी मैं इतनी देर करके असमयमें अपने आश्रमपर नहीं लौटा हूँ। संध्या होनेसे पहले ही माता मुझे रोक लेती है--आश्रमसे बाहर नहीं जाने देती
adya se pūrvaṁ kadācid api nāhaṁ evaṁ cirakālaṁ kṛtvā akāle svāśramaṁ na punar āgataḥ। sandhyāyāḥ pūrvam eva mātā māṁ nivārayati—āśramād bahiḥ gantum na dadāti॥
“Bago ang araw na ito, hindi pa ako kailanman nakabalik sa ermitanyo nang ganito kahuli at sa oras na di nararapat. Bago pa man dumating ang dapithapon, pinipigil na ako ng aking ina—hindi niya ako pinahihintulutang lumabas ng ermitanyo.”
