वैशम्पायन उवाच शृणुष्वावहितो राजन् शुचिर्भूत्वा समाहित: । क्षणं च कुरु राजेन्द्र सम्प्रवक्ष्याम्यशेषत:,वैशम्पायनजीने कहा--राजेन्द्र! मैं सब बातें बता रहा हूँ। तुम सावधान, पवित्र और एकाग्रचित्त होकर सुनो और धैर्य रखो
vaiśampāyana uvāca śṛṇuṣvāvahito rājan śucir bhūtvā samāhitaḥ | kṣaṇaṃ ca kuru rājendra sampravakṣyāmy aśeṣataḥ ||
Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: “O Hari, makinig kang buong ingat—magpakadalisay at panatilihing payapa ang isip. Magtiis ka muna sandali, O pinakamainam sa mga hari; isasalaysay ko sa iyo ang lahat nang ganap.”
