Entry into the Yakṣa-Lake Episode
नारद उवाच क्व गताभूत् सुतेयं ते कुतश्चैवागता नृप । किमर्थ युवती भर्रें न चैनां सम्प्रयच्छसि,नारदजीने पूछा--राजन्! आपकी यह पुत्री कहाँ गयी थी और कहाँसे आ रही है? अब तो यह युवती हो गयी है। आप किसी वरके साथ इसका विवाह क्यों नहीं कर देते हैं?
nārada uvāca | kva gatābhūt suteyaṁ te kutaś caivāgatā nṛpa | kimarthaṁ yuvatī bhāryāṁ na caināṁ samprayacchasi ||
Wika ni Nārada: “O hari, saan nagpunta ang anak mong ito, at mula saan siya ngayo’y nagbalik? Siya’y nasa gulang na ng pagdadalaga; bakit hindi mo siya ipakasal sa isang karapat-dapat na asawa?”
