Entry into the Yakṣa-Lake Episode
राजोवाच अविचाल्यं तदुक्तं यत् तथ्यं भगवता वच: । करिष्याम्येतदेवं च गुरुर्हि भगवान् मम,राजा बोले--देवर्षे! आपने जो बात कही है, वह ठीक है। उसे टाला नहीं जा सकता। अतः मैं ऐसा ही करूँगा, क्योंकि आप मेरे गुरु हैं
rājovāca—avicālyaṃ tad uktaṃ yat tathyaṃ bhagavatā vacaḥ | kariṣyāmy etad evaṃ ca gurur hi bhagavān mama ||
Wika ng hari: “O banal na rishi, ang iyong sinabi ay totoo at hindi maaaring isantabi. Kaya gagawin ko ang ayon sa iyong sinabi, sapagkat ikaw, iginagalang na pantas, ay tunay na aking guro.”
नारद उवाच
A truthful instruction given by a revered teacher should not be dismissed; ethical action includes humility and readiness to follow sound counsel grounded in truth (tathya) and dharma.
A king responds to a sage’s guidance (addressing him as Devarṣi and guru), affirming that the sage’s words are true and binding, and pledging to carry out the advised course of action.
