Entry into the Yakṣa-Lake Episode
राजोवाच अपीदानीं स तेजस्वी बुद्धिमान् वा नृपात्मज: । क्षमावानपि वा शूर: सत्यवान् पितृवत्सल:,राजाने पूछा--देवर्ष! इस समय पितृभक्त राजकुमार सत्यवान् तेजस्वी, बुद्धिमान, क्षमावान् और शूरवीर तो है न?
rājovāca: apīdānīṃ sa tejasvī buddhimān vā nṛpātmajaḥ | kṣamāvān api vā śūraḥ satyavān pitṛvatsalaḥ ||
Tinanong ng hari: “O banal na rishi! Sa panahong ito, ang prinsipe bang si Satyavān—na tapat sa kanyang ama—ay tunay pa ring maningning at matalas ang pag-unawa: matiisin ngunit magiting, makatotohanan, at deboto sa kanyang ama?”
