Kuntī’s concealed childbirth and the river-borne casket
तां मायां विकृतां दृष्टवा दशग्रीवस्य रक्षस:
tāṃ māyāṃ vikṛtāṃ dṛṣṭvā daśagrīvasya rakṣasaḥ
Wika ni Mārkaṇḍeya: Nang makita ang baluktot at mapanlinlang na māyā ni Daśagrīva (Rāvaṇa), ang mga rākṣasa ay tinamaan ng di-pangkaraniwang kapangyarihan nito—isang pangyayaring nagpapakita na ang adharma ay umaasa sa pagkalito, at ang pagdama ay madaling baluktutin kapag natatakpan ng ulap ang pag-unawa.
मार्कण्डेय उवाच
