तेजस्वीति यमाहुर्व पण्डिता दीर्घदर्शिन:
tejasvīti yam āhur vai paṇḍitā dīrghadarśinaḥ
Sinabi ni Yudhiṣṭhira: “Ang marurunong at malayong tumingin na mga pantas ay tumatawag sa kanya na ‘tejasvī’—yaong pinagkalooban ng maningning na kapangyarihan at lakas ng asal.”
युधिछिर उवाच
True ‘tejas’ (radiant power) is recognized by the wise as a mark of inner excellence—strength guided by discernment and dharma, not mere aggression or status.
Yudhiṣṭhira is characterizing someone’s quality, citing the judgment of learned, far-sighted authorities who call that person ‘tejasvī,’ thereby grounding his evaluation in ethical and reflective wisdom.
