Sūrya’s Counsel to Karṇa on Kīrti and the Kuṇḍala
वृत: कोटिसहस्रेण वानराणां तरस्विनाम् । श्वशुरो वालिन: श्रीमान् सुषेणो राममभ्ययात्,सबसे पहले वालीके श्वशुर श्रीमान् सुषेण श्रीरामचन्द्रजीकी सेवामें उपस्थित हुए। उनके साथ वेगशाली वानरोंकी सहस्र कोटि (दस अरब) सेना थी
vṛtaḥ koṭisahasreṇa vānarāṇāṃ tarasvinām | śvaśuro vālinaḥ śrīmān suṣeṇo rāmam abhyayāt ||
Wika ni Mārkaṇḍeya: “Napapaligiran ng isang libong koṭi ng mga vanarang matutulin at makapangyarihan, ang marangal na si Suṣeṇa—biyenan ni Vālin—ay lumapit kay Rāma.”
