Sāvitrī’s Report and Nārada’s Prognosis (सावित्र्याख्यान—सत्यवान्-गुणवर्णनं तथा अल्पायुषः पूर्वसूचना)
ततो रावणमभ्येत्य राक्षसी दुःखमूर्च्छिता । पपात पादयोर्भ्रातु: संशुष्करुधिरानना,रावणके पास पहुँचकर वह राक्षसी दु:खसे मूर्च्छित हो भाईके चरणोंमें गिर पड़ी। उसके मुखपर रक्त बहकर सूख गया था
tato rāvaṇam abhyetya rākṣasī duḥkha-mūrcchitā | papāta pādayor bhrātuḥ saṃśuṣka-rudhirānanā ||
Pagkaraan, lumapit siya kay Rāvaṇa; ang rākṣasī, nanghihina at nawalan ng ulirat sa dalamhati, ay bumagsak sa paanan ng kaniyang kapatid. Ang kaniyang mukha’y nabahiran ng dugong umagos at natuyo.

The verse highlights how suffering drives one to seek refuge in established bonds—here, kinship—implicitly invoking the ethical expectation that a powerful relative should respond to a grievously wronged family member. It also foregrounds the moral weight of violence by showing its visible, bodily aftermath.
A rākṣasī, overwhelmed by sorrow to the point of faintness, approaches Rāvaṇa and collapses at her brother’s feet. Her face bears dried blood, indicating she has been harmed and is making a desperate plea for protection or redress.
