Mudgalasya Svarga-nirvedaḥ

Mudgala’s Disenchantment with Heaven

तथा द्वैतवने तस्मिन्‌ विजहार मुदा युतः,दुर्योधनके चले जानेपर द्विजातियोंसे प्रशंसित होते हुए भाइयोंसहित वीर कुन्तीनन्दन युधिष्ठिर वहाँके समस्त तपस्वी मुनियोंसे घिरे रहकर देवताओंके बीचमें बैठे हुए इन्द्रकी भाँति शोभा पाने और प्रसन्नतापूर्वक द्वैतवनमें विहार करने लगे

vaiśampāyana uvāca | tathā dvaitavane tasmin vijahāra mudā yutaḥ | duryodhanakṛte cale jñāte dvijātibhiḥ praśaṃsite bhātr̥bhiḥ saha vīraḥ kuntīnandanaḥ yudhiṣṭhiraḥ tatra sarvān tapasvino munīn parivṛto devānām madhye upaviṣṭa iva indraḥ śobhāṃ lebhe | sa prasannatayā dvaitavane vihartuṃ pravavṛte ||

Wika ni Vaiśampāyana: Sa gubat ng Dvaita, si Yudhiṣṭhira—ang bayaning anak ni Kuntī—ay nanahan at naglakad-lakad na may payapang galak. Nang mabalitaan ang kaguluhang idinulot ni Duryodhana, pinuri ng mga dvija si Yudhiṣṭhira; at napaliligiran ng mga ermitanyong mapagtiis sa pook na iyon, siya’y nagniningning na parang si Indra na nakaupo sa gitna ng mga diyos. Kaya, taglay ang mahinahon at masayang diwa, nagpatuloy siyang gumala at manahan sa gubat ng Dvaita.
