शीतश्च वायु: प्रववी प्रयाणे तस्य धीमत: । विपांसुलां महीं कुर्वन् ववर्ष च सुरेश्वर:,उन बुद्धिमान् राजा कुवलाश्वचके यात्राकालमें शीतल वायु चलने लगी। देवराज इन्द्र धरतीकी धूल शान्त करनेके लिये वर्षा करने लगे
śītaś ca vāyuḥ pravavī prayāṇe tasya dhīmataḥ | vipāṃsulāṃ mahīṃ kurvan vavarṣa ca sureśvaraḥ ||
Sinabi ni Mārkaṇḍeya: Nang umalis sa paglalakbay ang marunong na haring iyon, nagsimulang umihip ang malamig na hangin. At si Indra, panginoon ng mga diyos, ay nagpaulan upang mapatahimik ang alikabok ng lupa at gawing hindi na nagliliparan ang alikabok sa daan—isang mapalad at mapagkalingang tugon na sumusuporta sa matuwid na gawain at nagpapagaan sa hirap ng paglalakbay.
