Indradyumna Upākhyāna: On Kīrti, Smṛti, and Restoration
इत्युक्त: स मुनिश्रेष्ठ: पुनरेवाभ्यभाषत । रमयन् वृष्णिशार्दूलं पाण्डवांश्व महानृषि:,युधिष्ठिरके इस प्रकार पूछनेपर मुनिश्रेष्ठ महर्षि मार्कण्डेयने वृष्णिप्रवर श्रीकृष्ण तथा पाण्डवोंको आनन्दित करते हुए पुनः इस प्रकार कहा--
ity uktaḥ sa muniśreṣṭhaḥ punar evābhyabhāṣata | ramayan vṛṣṇiśārdūlaṃ pāṇḍavāṃś ca mahān ṛṣiḥ ||
Nang masabi iyon, muling nagsalita ang pinakadakila sa mga muni. Ang dakilang rishi, na nagpasaya sa “tigreng” bayani ng angkan ng Vṛṣṇi (Śrī Kṛṣṇa) at sa mga Pāṇḍava, ay nagpatuloy sa kanyang salaysay—bilang tugon sa tanong ni Yudhiṣṭhira.
