कृतयुगवर्णनम् तथा राजधर्मोपदेशः
Kṛtayuga Description and Instruction on Royal Dharma
विपरीते तदा लोके पूर्वरूपं क्षयस्य तत् । बहवो म्लेच्छराजान: पृथिव्यां मनुजाधिप,नरेश्वर! इस प्रकार जब लोगोंके विचार और व्यवहार विपरीत हो जाते हैं, तब प्रलयका पूर्वरूप आरम्भ हो जाता है। उस समय इस पृथ्वीपर बहुत-से म्लेच्छ राजा राज्य करने लगते हैं
viparīte tadā loke pūrvarūpaṁ kṣayasya tat | bahavo mleccharājānaḥ pṛthivyāṁ manujādhipa ||
Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: “Kapag ang pag-iisip at asal ng daigdig ay nabaligtad—kapag ang mga tao’y tumalikod sa wastong kaayusan—iyon mismo ang paunang tanda ng pagkapuksa. Sa gayong panahon, O panginoon ng mga tao, maraming haring mleccha ang mamumuno sa lupa.”
