Sarasvatī–Tārkṣya Saṃvāda: Agnihotra-vidhi, Dāna-phala, and Mokṣa-prasaṅga (सरस्वती–तार्क्ष्यसंवादः)
प्रोवाच कृष्णामपि याज्ञसेनीं दशार्हभर्ता सहित: सुहृद्धिः । दिष्टया समग्रासि धनंजयेन समागतेत्येवमुवाच कृष्ण:,इसके बाद दशार्हकुलके स्वामी श्रीकृष्ण, जो अपने सुहृदोंसे घिरे हुए थे, यज्ञसेनकुमारी द्रौपदीसे बोले--“कृष्णे! अर्जुनसे मिलकर तेरी सारी कामना सफल हो गयी, यह बड़े आनन्दकी बात है। तेरे पुत्र बड़े सुशील हैं। धनुर्वेदमें उनका विशेष अनुराग है। वे अपने सुहृदोंसहित सत्पुरुषोंद्वारा आचरित सदाचार और धर्मका पालन करते हैं
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
provāca kṛṣṇām api yājñasenīṃ daśārhabhartā sahitaḥ suhṛdbhiḥ |
diṣṭyā samagrāsi dhanaṃjayena samāgatety evam uvāca kṛṣṇaḥ ||
Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: Napalilibutan ng kaniyang mga mabubuting kaibigan, si Kṛṣṇa—ang panginoon ng mga Dāśārha—ay nagsalita kay Kṛṣṇā (Draupadī), anak ni Yājñasena: “Kṛṣṇe! Tunay na mapalad ka; sa iyong muling pagkikita kay Dhanañjaya (Arjuna), natupad ang iyong mga pag-asa.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights ‘diṣṭi’ (auspicious fortune) as the restoration of wholeness through rightful reunion: when the righteous (Arjuna) returns/appears, the afflicted regain stability and hope. Ethically, it affirms the value of steadfast alliances and the protective role of dharmic relationships in times of crisis.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that Kṛṣṇa, accompanied by his friends, speaks to Draupadī and congratulates her on meeting Arjuna (Dhanañjaya), declaring that this reunion is a fortunate sign and that her situation is now ‘complete’ or set right.
