इन्द्रप्रशंसा, दिव्योपकरणदानं, गन्धमादनसमागमश्च
Indra’s Commendation, Bestowal of Divine Insignia, and the Gandhamādana Reunion
एवं मे चरतस्तत्र सर्वयत्नेन शत्रुहन् । प्रीतिमानभवद् वीरो मातलि: शक्रसारथि:,राजन! तब मैंने उस रणभूमिने अस्त्र-शस्त्रधारी सैकड़ों तथा सहस्रों असुरोंको विचित्र एवं शीघ्रगामी बाणोंद्वारा मार गिराया। शत्रुदमन नरेश! इस प्रकार पूर्ण प्रयत्नपूर्वक युद्धमें विचरते हुए मेरे ऊपर इन्द्रसाराथि वीरवर मातलि बड़े प्रसन्न हुए
evaṁ me caratas tatra sarvayatnena śatruhan | prītimān abhavad vīro mātaliḥ śakrasārathiḥ ||
Wika ni Arjuna: “O hari, habang kumikilos ako roon sa larangan ng digmaan, ibinubuhos ang lahat ng lakas upang pabagsakin ang mga kaaway, ang bayaning si Mātali—ang tagapagmaneho ng karwahe ni Indra—ay labis na nasiyahan sa akin.”
