Legitimate power is portrayed as power aligned with dharma: the conch symbolizes auspicious, divinely endorsed victory, suggesting that triumph should serve the restoration of order rather than personal domination.
Arjuna identifies a supreme conch and praises its efficacy, saying it can secure victory over the Dānavas and citing Indra’s own conquests as precedent, thereby encouraging confidence through a revered, sacred emblem of success.
