The verse foregrounds dharma through daily discipline: even amid forest life and uncertainty, Arjuna completes the prescribed morning observances before engaging with events. It implies that ethical steadiness is sustained by regular duties (nitya-karma) and reverence toward the learned.
After the night ends, Arjuna performs his morning rites and then sees again the same eminent Brahmin whom he had encountered earlier, indicating a renewed meeting that will likely lead to further instruction, testing, or guidance.
