vaiśampāyana uvāca | tataḥ sūryodaye dhaumyaḥ kṛtvāhnikaṁ marindama | ārtiṣeṇena sahitaḥ pāṇḍavān abhyavartata | tato yudhiṣṭhiraṁ dhaumyo gṛhītvā dakṣiṇe kare | prācīṁ diśam abhiprekṣya maharṣir idam abravīt |
Wika ni Vaiśampāyana: Pagkatapos, sa pagsikat ng araw, ang pantas na si Dhaumya—matapos ganapin ang kanyang mga ritwal sa umaga (ahnika)—ay lumapit sa mga Pāṇḍava, kasama si Ārtiṣeṇa.
