Indra’s Meeting with the Pāṇḍavas

Educational Q&A

The verse highlights disciplined readiness and excellence: power (a chariot and swift horses) is presented as most admirable when it is well-prepared, well-adorned, and governed by skill—suggesting that capability should be matched with order, restraint, and auspicious conduct.

Attendants prepare a grand chariot by yoking it with superior Gandharva-bred horses. The horses are described as flawless and richly adorned, emphasizing the magnificence and readiness of the conveyance for an important journey or event.
